Still new to the Q3 43, one thing I haven’t figured out yet despite reading manual and watching tutorials:

I mapped exposure bracketing to FN Button 2, I’m able to switch to bracketing quickly, this works well. However, hitting Button 2 again doesn’t seem to switch back to normal (non-bracketing) shoot mode. Is the only way to revert from bracketing to go into drive mode setting and switch back over to 4fps (or whichever?)

I could map Button 2 to Drive Mode, which makes reversion slightly faster, but obviously makes going into bracketing mode slower in the first place.

Thanks for the generous and non-judgmental help in advance.

The way to get out of bracketing is as you describe to change the drive mode to a non bracket mode (single, 4fps...). You can do this with a Button shortcut, or a favorites shortcut or manually. It does not toggle off.

Once in exposure bracketing it stays there until going into drive mode to change back.

I go in and out of exposure bracketing by either using the drive mode icon on the first menu screen or through my favorites menu.  Either way I have to select the drive mode twice (once to go into bracketing, again to go back)

If you want to keep your F2 button mapped to exposure bracketing and you use a profile set up that has the non-bracketing drive mode you want the camera to default to, changing to exposure bracketing will push you out of that profile and a quick way to change back would be to just choose that profile again from the first "Menu" screen which would change the drive setting (and everything else in the profile) back to your default setting.

I would assume that just pushing the F2 button as you have set it up will not do anything after the initial change to exposure bracketing.

Thanks for the help Cheesehead and Robert. Strange that Perspective Control works the way I’d expect if you map it to a button, one press turns it on, a second press turns it off, but not Bracketing.

If that’s the worst UI nit I have to pick Leica has built a pretty good human/machine interface.
