ALScott Posted October 2, 2024 Share #1  Posted October 2, 2024 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I am in YNP and headed to Grand Tetons. I have missed focus on a few animal shots. There has been some grass etc in between me and subject but not that much and sometimes none. Some have been 100 yards to several hundred yards. First time shooting wildlife. Any tips on set up of camera would be appreciated. I have been using field focus mode. Edited October 2, 2024 by ALScott

NickT Posted October 2, 2024 Share #2 Â Posted October 2, 2024 I would experiment with Animal (beta) or spot focusing which I use with the Sigma 500mm.
