keerf Posted October 2, 2024 Share #1 Posted October 2, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hey Everyone, So I tried searching, and maybe wasn't searching the right term. I was trying to offload some pictures from my M11-p and as I was hooking it up to my computer the shutter just start going off on its own. I tried pulling the battery, and then turning it back on and it still did it. It went on for a good 15-20 seconds. It wasn't taking pictures, since the file count didn't increase, it almost seemed like it was doing pixel mapping. But from what I've at least glanced at, pixel mapping has to be run the camera doesn't do it automatically (unless I'm mistaken). Is this something I should be concerned about? It didn't do it again, but it was really weird. Thanks!

keerf Posted October 2, 2024 Author Share #2 Posted October 2, 2024 So just to add here, I was able to reproduce this issue by hooking a usb-c cable up to the camera and powering on the camera. It causes the shutter to just fire, and it keeps doing it until I do something like remove the lens mount cap. Then it stops. Not sure if it has something to do with the usb cable I'm using or something else.
