I live in a house that was 100 years old last year. A lot of Art Deco features. Many doors and window sills etc that were so common back then and are just not common today.

Most of the original architraves and cornices are still intact. I fear that when I 'go', it will be knocked down for land value. I am constantly getting offers for it, but where would I live then? I am already where I want to be!
eleizca Posted October 4, 2024 Share #4 Posted October 4, 2024 The way the hall light pours into the room has a soothing effect, accentuating the details of the door in a gentle, inviting manner.
