Catatac Posted December 27, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted December 27, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have started directly editing my DNG files in LR. I notice that LR automatically assigns a brightness level at +50 and a contrast at +25. How do you get rid of these settings ?
Advertisement Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Hi Catatac, Take a look here Something Weird With LR ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
carstenw Posted December 27, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted December 27, 2007 Set the settings as you like, and make a preset. Make this preset the default in the file import dialog.
graeme_clarke Posted December 27, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted December 27, 2007 Whilst we're on about foibles of LR, the slideshow facility has just died on my PC after working for months. Both the full show, and the preview, black-out. On preview the slides selected move along the filmstrip at the intervals I set. I've uninstalled, then reinstalled, from the disk, and added the upgrades. Same problem. I'm running the latest version. Â I've installed it on my notebook and it works flawlessly. Â "Pictures to Exe" and "Irfanwiew" both work without trouble. Â Any ideas? Â Graeme

Have you tried, when re-installing, do a "repair" rather than install, i.e., not to un-install but re-install but select the "repair" function (assuming it has one).
