Shootist Posted December 25, 2007 Share #1 Posted December 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ok just saw this on eBay, a 2x Leica M teleconverter that is rangefinder coupled and comes with a eyepiece. Anyone ever tried one of these and if so just how bad was it.

bill Posted December 25, 2007 Share #3 Posted December 25, 2007 This is a Komura one, yes? Don't go there. You may as well put a bottle bottom in between your Leica glass and your film plane. Regards, Bill
Shootist Posted December 25, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted December 25, 2007 This is a Komura one, yes? Don't go there. You may as well put a bottle bottom in between your Leica glass and your film plane. Regards, Bill I wasn't planning on going there at all. Just wondered if anyone had tried one. Thats why I said in my original post "How bad is it". I have a nikon 1.7X Teleconverter for my Nikon glass/camera and hardly ever use it because it degrades the Nikon glass. In any event EVERYONE!!!! HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS. Thanks.
peter_n Posted December 25, 2007 Share #5 Posted December 25, 2007 There are a few of the Komura teleconverters on eBay at the moment. I actually have one that I picked up for next to nothing at a flea market. Over the years most people have said that they are rubbish but at some point I'm planning to send this to DAG and see if he can get it to work. Might be fun with my 135...
