Hey ,

I just checked and I was unable to use the app with a cable. Which is pretty underwhelming .
I switched my iPhone and I am not sure if this worked with lightning, but I would love to have this feature if possible, in order to use the app without lag.

Funny, yesterday I was just trying this very same thing.  I don't own SL3, but I think I read somewhere that with the SL3 one can use the app with the USB cable connection instead of WiFi, which in theory means more reliable connection.  The app on the SL2-S is pretty useless; after a while it will slow down and become unresponsive, and I've also noticed that near power lines or large towers it loses connection.

SL2 works fine with the FOTOS app on USBc and iPad.

You need a cable that is apple MFi cable.

I am not sure why you would, MFi cables cables are only USB 2.0 speeds.

You can get better speeds with Capture one.

Hey I checked several cable , but no connection. Usually the connection finds itselve (q3). But with the sl2-s Imam having trouble.

it is a problem with FOTOS app,
if I pick up the SL2  and USB-C cables 4 out of 10 work, and there are all data cables, but they have to be MFi and USB 2. you have to be in APPLE connection on the camera.

I would suggest staying with WIFI.

If I try the camera in Capture One for iPad, all the 10 cables will work in PTP connection.

Q3 and SL3 have a different USB-C protocol and port, and it works quick and fast.
