I have a Q-P that I think needs looking at. All is functioning but the rear EVF sensor doesn’t always flip between lcd and the EVF. If I lightly push the eye piece down it will then respond fine, this works for a while then I’ll need to do it again…

Any ideas on what a repair cost in the uk might be or if it’s even possible?

Cheers,?

Obvious question but is the EVF sensor clean? Also, are there particular conditions in which this happens, such as when the sun directly ahead or behind? I’m wondering whether the sensor needs to notice a big change in lighting to work, such as your face moving away from the eyepiece in contrasty conditions. Personally, I set my Q2 to EVF-Extended and set a function button to switch the rear screen on only when I want to use it so I’ve no idea whether this is a common problem.
