lambroving Posted August 27, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 27, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) This tray was used to cool the brew if it became warm enough to quench fermentation. It is now under renovation for display as a modern chiller took its place a few years ago. This cooper tray was fabricated in place as the original iron tray which was installed when the building was constructed had failed. It will be brightly polished for the tourists. As you can see, the brew was allowed to cool in the Cotswold air. Those who fear that the flavor might be affected by the modern chiller need not worry. Only the potential bird dirt is missing They DO have the local water in all the coolers on the site and it is WONDERFUL!!! No surprise that Old Hooky tastes so good. M7, 28/2, f2.8@1/18th, 100 UC. abrewer Posted August 27, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 27, 2006 I think I like this best of the Hook-Norton set, William, for the clever use of lines and space you've made. Get your Skype up...after the Grand Prix. Thanks. Allan

dotandcom Posted August 27, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 27, 2006 Anyone who's been in this room will vouch for the difficult lighting conditions. This is a very skilful capture. I'm envious, having messed up several attempts to pull off something similar. I'll just have to go back and try again. Ah, the trials and tribulations we snappers have to put up with!
