Live View and Video black screen problem

i have a LEICA type 7323 the shutter button clicks but the screen is black, what do I do?

Have you checked the memory card, are there images?

Make sure you have a fully charged battery. 

Clean the little tab above the viewfinder, use a tiny pad. Go into the menu and check Display Settings check EVF-LCD, I keep mine on Auto but there are other choices, your problem may be the camera being set to EVF only.  

If no images come up on the memory card, the card maybe too advanced for the CL, the CL seems to be sensitive to large fast cards, I use SanDisk ExtemePro 90-95 mb/s cards and they work well, my cards are 32 and 64gb card. I have hardly ever filled a 32gb card, never a 64gb card. I believe these card are still available. 

If tis doesn't work try resetting the camera software.

Which screen? EVF or LCD? As @tommonego@gmail.com says, try another memory card to see what happens.
