Godox Xpro II TTL trigger underexposing

Hey guys!

So I have a Godox AD400Pro that I have had good experience with over several years. I have gotten some great shots using cameras from other systems and Xpro triggers for those systems.

 

Now I got one for Leica, to use with Leica SL2.

But with Channel set to 1 on trigger and the AD400 pro and TTL with 0 corrections, my photos are all underexposed by quite a lot.

 

I have my SL set to manual and 1/80 S at 100 iso and aperture controlled on the camera

It says TTL on both trigger and the strobe

I don´t know what I am doing wrong or if maybe the trigger doesn't work. Its 1,5 years since I used the strobe so I might be forgetting a bit too

 

any tips would be greatly appreciated

I assume you go the  XPro II for Leica and the AD400Pro updated to work with the Leica trigger, that all should work as it did before.

Did you update the flash?

Sorry,  I haven't updated the ad400 pro. Didn't know I had to.  But thank you, I will try to do that!

Did that work for you? I updated my flashpoint 200s and my X-Pro2 L trigger and TTL still doesn't work. I shoot manual  flash anyway but I feel like I should get what I paid for.

Only the 200 pro works

I'm curious: why should the flash have to be updated for a Leica? Isn't it just a dumb recover of a signal from the XPro? 
What am I missing?

Well that sucks! I could have saved $50 and gotten the old trigger in that case. I guess if I ever upgrade my old 200s it might be worth it? Thanks for the info.

For manual yes but not TTL.

It gets the instructions for the Leica trigger. without it, the flash does not expose correctly with the trigger

Only in production models are supported, older models will fire in manual mode, no TTL

I think you just answered my next question about the X3 trigger. Guess Godox really wants me to upgrade my flashes? They shouldn't have made these things bullet proof. I'll be using them until they die.
