How do I set up this image review???

Hi all.

I have my SL3 set to Extended EVF and when I take a photo the picture shows briefly in evf or until I short press shutter release button. I thought I liked this, but was wondering if there is a way to set this so the image shows in lcd only and upon tap of shutter release lcd goes dark again.

My goal is to be able to not have image appear in evf so I can shoot in a more rapid manor, but be able to have the option to view most recent photo on lcd. I have drive mode set to single, which I’d like to maintain. Can this be done? I suppose my other option might be to just turn off image review and press the “Play” button if I need to see last image(s). Your thoughts appreciated. Jonathan

I have the Preview set to Hold!  so in a single mode, you can hold after the shot and you can see the preview as long as you hold it.

I found this beneficial because it comes up only intentionally during a shoot without slowing you down.

Thanks for that! I tried every combination of evf and image review and I was thinking of sticking with my original set up after that. However you guys mentioned a “hold” option that I’d like to try. Is that in a different place? My image review optoons are 1s, 2s, 5s and Permanent. SL3 right? Can you enlighten me?

Ok. So I couldn’t wait.

That “Hold” option is VERY cool. Not only does that hold image in evf but also displays image on lcd while shutter is being held!!! Amazing. Great info. Thanks Photoworks.

Now set to be my go-to way for very quick review. Love it. OT- Has anyone noticed that the English version of the user manual table of contents page numbering is off by two pages? Not a big deal.
