Never-ready case attachment for MP 90mm?

Hi All,

 

I have a new MP (what an amazing piece of equipment!) and also purchased the Leica leather "stadard" everready case with it (Leica #14870)... I have a 50mm Summilux-M and also the 90. The 50 fits the case fine but the 90 is too long... The dealer tells me there's no way to attach a second cover with larger extension... Aside from ordering a custom Luigi (since I've already bought this case and can't return it) - any suggestions?

 

I know the ideal would be NOT to carry it in a case, but I've always used an (n)ever ready - it's nostalgic since my Dad always had one

There is another case that you can purchase with a longer & wider snout. I'm not sure if it will fit a 90 Summicron or not.

 

I have a nostalgic liking for ever-ready cases as well, but found that it had a tendency to rub bright spots into the black chrome finish of the M6TTL that I was using it on...likely due to the higher body height. I just use the bottom half now on that particular body.

Nostalgia is a powerful motivator :-)

 

Any idea if the Luigi "FULL" case will fit a 90mm lens? It says it's OK with a 50, but...
