Capturing Lightning Using An SL2s

Hello All.

I am the proud owner of an SL2S and wish to capture nature's electrical essence.

I have had past experience using a "Lightning Trigger" on a Sony mirrorless, but wish to use my Leica instead. The only problem is the manufacturer has no demand, and therefore, does not wish to produce them, coupled with something they said about shutter lag?

My question is what experience have other SL System owners have had using a second party add-on to help produce great lightening shots? I know I could do it manually, but having such a device would enable me to have greater success,
