Guest guy_mancuso Posted August 26, 2006 Share #21 Posted August 26, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Firewire should be on left side of camera and only on left side. if you don't see it than this is not real. No OEM will ever put that anywhere else but there. battery and card can and probably do come from the bottom and maybe share the same door. Is there a PC outlet agin that would be only on left side and most likely next to lens. these two things are almost never ever anywhere else

george + Posted August 26, 2006 Share #33 Posted August 26, 2006 On a second thought, in the daylight; it looks like a fake. Sorry. The buttons look pretty ill defined, particularly the big quadruple one on the right. And the exposure button is a bit funny. And most of your comments above of course. And, in enlargement, the left front where the M6/7 battery is looks badly patched. Ugh. It is a fake. Pretty though. A pity. Another three weeks? humanized_form Posted August 26, 2006 Share #35 Posted August 26, 2006 i think this could really be it. the original posting had lots of other info in a document that looked really leica like, use of fonts, layout, etc. the missing info that would be on a top lcd like iso/wb/file quality/remaining images/etc could all be presented in the viewfinder, if this is the case i hope there is a way to turn it off, or that it briefly appears when you half press the shutter button or something. personally i really like way the the shutter speed is displayed in the m7. humanized_form Posted August 26, 2006 Share #37 Posted August 26, 2006 Again: Well? yeah, i dunno.... i think the original posting was of a low resolution screen capture and everything else has been enlarged since then. kind of hard to tell what artifacts are from what at this point.
