I’ve been using Leica leather case for my Q3 since day 1. It’s been about 2 months since purchase date and today when i take out the case for cleaning, i noticed severe scratches at the bottom. This is due to rugged plastic surface of leather case when it contacts with the leica body. Did anyone notice the same ?

This has been discussed before. My case had a small leather crescent sitting on the plastic plate at the end of the case but some folk's cases didn't have the leather crescent.

Without the leather the edge of the camera rubs against the hard plastic and is consequently scratched.

Does your camera have the leather patch?

@Corius no. My case doesn't have the patch. Is it included in a revised version of the case ?

Btw, is this something we can bring to leica store and have it exchanged, repaired under warranty ?

Warranty…the case, maybe.  The camera, no.

I'm not sure if it was a revision, but it seems more likely that they just forgot to add it to some cases. Without the leather the camera isn't supported properly and I can't see how they would design it that way even initially.

It's worth asking Leica about this as it definitely causes an issue.

You may wish to take a look Alphaguard LEICA Q3 Protection Skin Cover Wrap  I used the Obsidian Black on mine and it was easy to do.  Kindly forgive the crumby iPhone photo!
