For a photography forum most of the bag threads do not include pics of the bags. Let's make this a thread of what you are using with the camera in it. I have had a Q2 for a while, I love it. With that I just unloaded all my micro 4/3rds and picked up an SL3 and some lenses. So here are the bags I currently have:

First is a Domke F-6 "Little Bit Smaller". It fits the SL3 with 24-70 and room for two lenses. It does not have padding on the sides... so there is that.

Next is the Domke F-10 Medium Shoulder Bag. IT can fit the SL3 with 24-70 sideways, or the SL3 with lens and a spare lens, but then the lens is just above the top of the bag.

Next up is the EVOC Stage Capture 16L. In the MFT world I would carry a few lenses. With the SL3 I can have the 12-24 attached and a really tight fit. But can be done. I used it this morning on my bike ride... however I forget my SD card :)

On short holidays, I'll pack my gear into a small Lowepro Tahoe 150.  It's a small bag, but can really hold a lot of stuff if you pack properly.

The leather for the new Oberwerth Q Bag is so soft and supple.  Feels really nice to touch and fits the Q series plus a SF40 easily.

Manfrotto Advance Rolling Bag III is my current go-to bag for events shoot.  Can even accommodate the Canon EF600mm/F4 with the full trinity lenses.

Customised Pelican 1535 Air with COB LED lights with a Samsung S8 Ultra tablet that is fastened to the top lid.  It is connected to Leica Fotos to provide a live view of the preview and review.  After getting the Manfrotto, the Pelican is just used for storing camera accessories.

@fotonutzz that pelican case is amazing!

I have had this EVOC Pro Capture 7L Hip Pack 7L for a while and just used it on a dog walk today. It can fit the SL3 and 24-70 or a prime vertically or horizontally. It is a snug fit, no hand grip would fit in this.

Now this bag I have been using (for the past week) to carry the camera in town with one lens attached. It is a Greenroom136 Metrodrifter. I've actually had this bag 5 years now and it still looks nice. I like the high dust collar and the not-a-camera-bag look.

Next up is a cool bag I got to carry the SL3 with 24-70 attached and multiple lenses.  I really like this setup for not looking like a camera bag and overall durability.

The bag is a Rickshaw Bagworks Medium Zero Messenger Bag.  I went for custom colors and added clips on the flap.

The insert is a Gura Gear 13" Chobe Wide https://guragear.com/products/insert-13l-chobe-2-0

Next up, and currently the bag I use all the time. I wanted a bag I could use walking my dogs or in real quick in town without looking like a camera bag. And honestly I have had this bag at least 2 times in the last 25 years. The Mountainsmith Tour is an over the shoulder, waist pack or as I use it an over the shoulder with the waist belt on, giving me quick access to the camera while walking the pups. To protect the camera I use an Ape Case Cubeze 37 (ACQB 37). This fits right in the Mountainsmith with room for a 24-70 and SL3, I imagine it would fit the 24-90, but I do not have one to check. You could fit a F2 prime on the camera and one more in it as well.

In my never ending quest for the perfect bag (I am not alone in this one :) ) I got a Rickshaw Small Zero Messenger https://www.rickshawbags.com/bags/messenger-bags/small-zero-messenger and used the Ape Case referenced above. I am at my place at the beach and wanted a bag for the SL3 that looked a little less like I was going for a hike. The medium zero is great if I want to carry 2 spare lenses, but this holds the camera with lens attached and room for a spare or one bigger lens with room to spare. The bag does not look like a purse or a camera bag which is cool too. Yes, I like the green / yellow combo, what can I say?

I very much like this size bag - I’m looking for one to carry a SL2 with 24-70 mounted and room for a second lens. Did you use the same Ape Case Cubeze 37 mentioned above or a different size?

I carry the 24-70 mounted and a 50mm prime in it, I think the 14-24 would fit too using the ape case ACQB37 - https://www.amazon.com/Ape-Case-Interior-Cameras-ACQB37/dp/B009GA6CAW . I used the Rickshaw this morning on a dog walk and then at the cars and coffee. This is my current favorite setup.  As an aside, Rickshaw bags are all handmade and the company was started by the original creator of Timbuk2 messenger bags.

Mountainsmith is a wonderful company that really backs up their gear. In the early '80's I bought a used Mountainsmith backpack to haul everything I needed for a winter climb up Mt Hood. I bought it used from the REI rental department and when I got it home there was an issue with the bag. I called the company - told them I bought it used from REI - they just said - "send it to us" I did just that, they fixed the bag, washed it and sent it back. Because of that first wonderful experience with the company I went on to purchase many other assorted bags from them - all still used today. My grandson and nephew have borrowed several of the bags many times.

I’m trying to source a much bigger bag for my SL2 and three physically larger lenses:

  • Leica SL2 with battery grip - 7” tall x 7” wide x 4” thick
  • Sigma 24-70/2.8 with hood - not here yet, but likely smaller than the 40mm
  • Sigma 40/1.4 with hood - 9” long x 5.5” diameter
  • Sigma 105/1.4 with hood - 9” long x 5.5” diameter
  • Room for filters and such

Ideally I’d have room for the body with any of the three lenses mounted and both of the others, too.  This won’t be my everyday bag for the SL2 but instead only when I’m using the battery grip and these lenses.

The best thing I’ve found on paper is the Tenba DNA 16 Pro Messenger Bag:

Billingham makes many sizes.  The Hadley One might suit.

Wotancraft Pilot 7l leather Can carry SL3 2 primes and a flash, also have the 3.5l, one if you would like to see that let me know.

I like the fact it does not look like a camera bag.
