Hello all

I'm piecing together a home film developing workflow where I will be using Xtol as my main developer but I am going to Greece for a couple of months soon and wish to develop and scan some rolls whilst there, thus, I'm considering the Cinestill monobath as an easy fix for the short period I am away from home. (I'm driving across Europe so no liquid restrictions)

I understand it comes in 1 litre form and it is good for 16 rolls and you can just keep re-using it till you reach the cut off. My question is. If I buy two of them and seperate it out into 3 separate containers each with 660ml or so (enough for a 2 reel Paterson) Can I then increase my roll development by a 1/3rd? Or does the developer need the 1 litre worth of chemicals to get to 16 rolls even though I will not be using it all in one go per session.

Thank you

Costa
