Record to CFe vs SD. on SL3

I shoot video frequently and would like to record my stills to the SD card and the video to CFe card.  Far as I can tell...I can't do that.  Is that a correct assumption on my part?

I don't have a SL3, just a SL2-S, but I use profiles. My user profiles for stills duplicate files between the two SD cards (SD1=SD2). My profiles for video are to record to SD1 and then to SD2. You might want to explore profiles similarly for the SL3.

correct, the options are poor!

On my SL3 video is recorded to the CFe. I don’t recall if I initially set this up that way.

I may explore using profiles to accomplish this.  I think it could work.  Thanks

I should add that I have never intentionally shot both stills and video to the same cards without reformatting. Video is a separate activity to photography for me; when I go to record video, I start with freshly formatted cards, and the same each time I go out to take stills. I have always assumed that the camera would not overwrite previous files when I change the saving pattern. If you are going to intersperse video and stills in the same outing, I suggest you test my assumption first!
