Boogdaddy Posted July 16, 2024 Share #1 Posted July 16, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello All- In the process of getting ready to sell my Q2 I was resetting the camera back to factory settings and my finger slipped and chose an Asian language (looks like maybe Korean?). Now my entire menu is in this language that I don't read and I don't know where to go or how to reset it to English. Is there any way to reset the camera without going through the menu? And on a side note, I seem to remember the Q2 not having an internal frame counter, but one of the menus I saw just prior to messing it up into another language was it asking me if I wanted to reset the frame counter? So is there somewhere in the menu I can go to see how many frames have been shot on this camera? I just want the info to provide to a prospective buyer. Thanks

Le Chef Posted July 16, 2024 Share #2 Posted July 16, 2024 I would check the instruction manual for how to do a new reset.
JimP Posted July 18, 2024 Share #3 Posted July 18, 2024 In case you have not figured it out yet, the menus are probably the same independent of language, so look in the manual where the language or reset entry is positionally and try that… usually close to the end. I have done this on a camera that I received that was set to Japanese
LocalHero1953 Posted July 18, 2024 Share #4 Posted July 18, 2024 In emergency I would point my smartphone at the screen and ask Google translate.
