Hi, I just purchased an old Summarit 5cm f1.5 lens with M mount.
It’s my first time buying a vintage lens. I suspect it has fungus. Attaching some pictures.
1. is it indeed fungus?
2. should I be worried to attached this lens to my M11? Will the fungus transfer to the camera?

It doesn't appear to have the usual fungus tendrils. I'd suggest taking it to a trusted repairperson for cleaning. If it is fungus and it hasn't etched the glass it usually can be easily removed. Just remember to store the lens when not in use in relatively low humidity and light, the enemies of fungus. As for it transferring to the camera...highly unlikely unless it is on the outside of the rear element and you keep it attached in a high humidity environment.

1- Looks more like separation to me (gray halo extending around whitish area), but I can't be 100% sure based on that picture.

2- Fungus spores are everywhere, in the air, all the time -- and probably already in your M11 body and all of your lenses. Just don't keep your gear in a dark and humid environment with no ventilation and you'll be fine.
