Hey Guys,

I'm truly hoping a more seasoned Lightroom user can help me here, but 2 or so months ago I moved some of my LrC catalogs around to do some clean up, and since then my metadata fields no longer auto-fill with previously entered data. For example, for the city field, if I started typing "Chi" then LrC would suggest "Chicago" as Chicago was previously used, and I could simply hit enter or tab to use "Chicago" as the value of choice.

The city example illustrates the problem, and this gets maddening for me as I've been meticulous with my metadata to date, especially when entering values for film developing issue. The problem is now I can't remember what exact value I entered for certain things that are a bit more obscure, e.g. "Kodak HC-110" in LrC's eyes is a completely different thing from "Kodak HC 110" (no dash). So now I'm ending up with multiple variations of the same keyword, which I'd like to prevent.

Anyone know how to get LrC returned to it's previous behavior?

Custom Metadata Field lists should have the xxtension ".lrtemplate" and be kept in a folder named "Metadata Field Lists" (without quotes). This folder should be inside the "Lightroom" folder as shown below.

/Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Metadata Field Lists/XXXXX.lrtemplate

D:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Metadata Field Lists\[xxxxx.lrtemplate]

@frame-it thx! so I've followed your paths and I don't have the meta data folder nor the file it seems, can I re-generate it somehow?
