I will be taking my first trip to Norway soon, and will be going by rail from Oslo to Flåm, a boat ride on the fjord, and then rail from Stalheim to Bergen for a few days.

I like to travel light and normally take an M and 28mm and 50mm, but should I consider wider for this trip (21mm is the widest I have)?  I really don't know the scales of things, but I assume many of you have been.  Do you have any advice for me?  Examples?

Thanks,

Brent

There are places where you feel you'll never get enough wide angle no matter what, e.g. at the bottom of a deep fjord (Geiranger), or near the bottom of a high mountain (Trollveggen). But with a little creativity, you can do fine with just a 35mm. And in Lightroom, you can also easily combine several overlapping images into a panorama if you wish.
