Guest guy_mancuso Posted August 25, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 25, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Now that i switched to Mac i want to shoot my DMR tethered using Flexcolor 4.6 . i can't seem to get this to work. Wondering what Mac users are doing in this regard or if someone could try this and let me if there is anything i am doing wrong. When conected the camera sees the computer through the LCD i can see that connection but I simply can't shoot. Driver , setup just not sure. Thanks for giving this a try for me. This is real important and need to get this solved

robbegibson Posted August 25, 2006 Share #5 Posted August 25, 2006 Is the DMR interface set to 'camera' and not 'disk' ? Can you retreive files off the DMR? It seemed when I had a DMR that you needed to turn the DMR off, start Flexcolor, plug in the firewire cables and then turn on the DMR. It was picky about the sequence. With the Hasselblad H2CFH, with the firewire cable plugged in, the laptop power overrides the camera battery and the back turns on when Flexcolor is started. After the back is communicating with the DMR, the 'DMR' choice in the Flexcolor devices menu should be available. Some of this might help. robbegibson Posted August 25, 2006 Share #6 Posted August 25, 2006 Well, that's what I get for having breakfast between starting and finishing a post. Have you heard whether the M8 is 12 bit or 16bit? Thanks, Robbe Gibson
Guest guy_mancuso Posted August 25, 2006 Share #7 Posted August 25, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Robbe yea it is sensitive to the order that you do it. I think I had it on disk the first time. The M8 is 16bit like the DMR and you will be happy it is.
