A mysterious bug.

If I enter the spot metering mode in my SL3, I notice that rarely but it happens, the shutter drops and stays down for a long time (about 2 seconds when the shutter speed is set to 1/160 for example) and then back to original position.

The photo is taken and the shot concerns the part where the shutter obviously returns to its original position. The shooting data are those that I set, both ISO, aperture and shutter speed. But the photo is obviously "lost". If it were a hardware problem I would receive the famous full screen message on the rear LCD.

Could it be a bug related to the spot measurement which continually calculates the exact point and affects the software level, creating this anomalous behavior?
