Shutter sound M11 vs M11M

I realized that the shutter sound in between these 2 are different

 

I prefer way more in M11M shutter sound, is there any reason why? Nothing wrong with M11 but I wanted the shutter sound to be little more loud (?)

Shooting both in hybrid shutter btw 

 

(oh and my new Q3 leaf shutter is the worst haha)

The M11M is actually an M11-P if you think about it. Both have same internal storage. My guess is that the M11M and M11-P would have the same shutter sound.

right maybe. I haven't tried M11-P but I had to get the classic look with red dot on it haha

I had the M11 then sold it and got the P version. 
 

The shutter did seem different in terms of sound I felt but wasn’t sure if I was just imagining it since I never had the bodies side by side. 
 

I never read any suggestion that the shutter had physically changed at all between the two however.

Is your M11 black or silver?

When I compared the shutter sounds between a black M11-P and silver M11-P, there was a small but clear difference.

The silver sounded a bit more muted, which I suspect may have something to do with the brass vs. aluminium top plate.
