I have had the one freeze (mentioned previously), but no corrupted files, except as mentioned hereafter.  M11 using 2.1.1 with 128 GB SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC 300 MB/s UHS-II (same as yours, I think).  However, I have had numerous issues with Lightroom having trouble importing files (it keeps thinking the JPEGs are separate exposures and tries to import them separately SOMETIMES), so much so that I've switched the camera from DNG+JPG to DNG only.  Also, prior to that switch I was getting multiple corrupt file errors, which could be fixed easily by simply re-importing the picture group (the corrupted files were automatically seen by Lightroom as not imported yet for some reason), and so now I don't format the SD card until I've gone through the import group at least once with a quick once-over to make sure there are no corrupted pictures.  Since that change, I've had one corrupted file, but when I tried the import, nothing came up, and when I went back to view the file, it was no longer flagged as corrupted in Lightroom.

Using IN=SD is attractive, but the M11 "only" has 64 GB internal memory, so that does not make much sense (for me) with a 128 GB SD card as I am assuming as soon as the internal memory fills up, the camera would become inoperable, even though another 64 GB would remain on the SD card.  Not sure if the camera is smart enough to realize that and keep taking pictures and don't want to find out the hard way...  Then, of course there is the extra step of having to format internal memory as well as the SD card each time.

I have never reached the internal 64GB limit on my M11, so I actually don't know how the system behaves in the overflow scenario. Obviously the smart thing would be to simple continue storing one on the larger storage medium.

Did you try UHS-I Sandisk cards? Inexpensive, somewhat slower (200 mb/s), but less freezes than UHS-II for me, don't ask me why. I never got corrupt files with any card though. Just a tip you might feel useful or not...

Hmmm, I have never tried that. It would be weird if a slower card exhibited more robust behavior.
