It's the second Heliar 50mm F2 copy I'm working with, and both required minor mechanical maintenance. Article will show disassembly steps and also hints on tuning mechanics back to original performance. Another reason of more deep disassembly was to discover if it's possible to extend the MFD (stock is 1m). Well, I can tell now that it's quite hard but possible, though requiring internal frame grinding. Approach is similar to extending MFD of Leica 50mm F2 Summicron rigid Welcome, dear visitor!
