Will supplement my Leica CL which is a fine camera but not so fine for low level c/u photography. The 'flip up' Viso used on the T /TL series enables comfortable low level close-up imaging. My original T was converted to full spectrum sensor and is mainly used for IR imaging – with 720nm IR 'pass' filters fitted to various lenses. Leica T, TL, and TL2 are now popular 'entry level' Leica Interchangeable lens (ICL), digital compact cameras. Prices are reasonable but rising. Prudent to buy now before they become more scarce. BW, dunk The old adage, "Don't count your chickens before they're hatched" applies. Dealer sent incorrect camera and no TL in stock – even tho' was listed and invoice rec'd and paid. Full refund offered and accepted. BW, dunk

AdjusterBrett Posted July 20, 2024 Share #24 Posted July 20, 2024 I have a TL2 and Viso 020. My original intentions was to grab it for the occasion I would shoot manual - and basically load up the TL2 with some AF lenses... Best intentions - I still shoot at least 75% vintage on it (couple lenses, viso, extra batt, peak 3L sling with a clip - my grab n go). I have a pana S1 and an SL. The SL is #1 or zoomed in focus, period - and its 4.4m vs the 5.76 for a panasonic - but it zooms in closer and clearer. Funny - and didn't expect - but the visoflex is about equal to the S1 when focusing. Forget about peaking on the Leicas - but the image is clear enough to do what you need to do. Is it a bit on the fragile side - yes - but I'm comfy enough with it - it dangles off the hotshoe of the TL2 as its clipped (capture clip) to the sling as I walk around. My TL2 is Silver and the Viso is black - but I don't really care - however, I get so so many comments on it when I'm at at fair or amusement park. It outperforms the SL and my Fuji's in this department. One last one - I use the APP very successfully vs my sony, fuji, panasonic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, period.
IkarusJohn Posted July 20, 2024 Share #25 Posted July 20, 2024 I use my TL2 with my smaller M lenses - 28 Summaron, mostly. I always have my Visoflex with me as an option. Great little camera. Such a shame Leica discontinued it.
