I'm a day late with these, but I thought I'd share a few photos taken with the 100-400. As I said, I think this is a very capable lens. The images were taken on a very foggy morning with the SL2-S. I was shooting between ISO 4000-6400 with the camera set to MF but with the back-button selected, I was in AFC and small field and wildlife profile. In general, once locked on, the AF system did well with the 100-400. While flight photography was a challenge, the AF easily tracked the owl as it was preening, the same could be said for the hawk when it was turning its head.

I'm pretty pleased with the output from the camera and lens combination.
