Question about chrome finish on 90’s Summicron…

Weird question here, but I recently bought a V5 Summicron in silver chrome from a reputable Leica dealer. The lens appears to be unused, however under certain lighting there is what I can best describe as a streakyness to the chrome finish in certain places on the lens body. Where the chrome looks like it’s slightly lighter in color than in other places. Obviously doesn’t effect the functionality of the lens at all just wondered if anyone else had noticed this on lenses from this era as I’ve never had a chrome version of this lens from this period.
