StefanC Posted May 31, 2024 Share #1 Posted May 31, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm thinking of getting either a Sigma 16-28mm f/2.8 or a Panasonic Lumix S 14-28mm/4-5.6 for my SL2-S. I'm not really a big fan of non-Leica lenses, but unfortunately Leica doesn't have a compact UWW. Do you have any experiences / pictures using the two lenses on an SL2-S? How is the AF performance or are there any problems using these lenses on a Leica SL2-S? Any other recommendations? Thank you so much! mdavidp Posted June 4, 2024 Share #4 Posted June 4, 2024 Hi, I have the SL2 snd have tried Both the 16-28 and 14-24. Both are sharp and wonderful. The 16-28 is small, light and sharp and has a bit more reach. Sigma has done a great job supporting the SL line. You would be happy with either. ranilla Posted June 6, 2024 Share #6 Posted June 6, 2024 I use the Sigma 16-28mm with the SL3 and am very happy with it. The lens accompanies me on all my travels and I use it for landscapes and architecture. Saludos
