Yes, sure it is.

10 MP × 3 channels (RGB) × 16 bit per pixel and channel = 60 MB. Add some metadata and embed a small JPEG preview image, and you'll arrive at 61 MB. That's what demosaiced uncompressed 16-bit RGB TIFF data is.

Raw data is just 8 bit, or one byte, of (compressed) data per pixel, so a DNG file is 10 MB plus preview image plus metadata = approx. 11 MB.

Don't know, what you mean with "real". @01af already explained, what happens behind the scenes, when you convert it to that format. So, it's real, but no gain of information compared to the raw file.
