TheLaird Posted May 20, 2024 Share #1 Posted May 20, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a Q2 and my thumb supports fits the Q3. I know it had only 1 button but that is OK for me. I want to set the Fn Button - the one which works with the Q2 thumb support to Digital Zoom. However it is set to Photo/Video and cannot seem to turn it off. It says ....active items cannot be deleted. Can anybody help?
Advertisement Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Hi TheLaird, Take a look here FN Button 2 - cannot remove Photo/Option. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest Posted May 20, 2024 Share #2 Posted May 20, 2024 You shouldn't need to turn off (delete) Photo/Video. You just need to hold the FN button down until the menu pops up and you then scroll to choose the new function (digital zoom). You're getting that error because you're trying to delete the function (Photo/Video) that's already selected, and you can't do that. If you really do want to delete Photo/Video (perhaps to add space for another menu option, e.g Digital Zoom) then you need to select another function first (see first paragraph) The manual is actually quite good at describing this. Have you checked it?
