After more than 10 years with my beloved M9-P I was able to buy an almost unused M10-P and I have to say I am more than happy withy new companion.

One thing though, inspite of following the manual to the letter, I am not able to turn the clipping mode off. I can set the icon to off, but the camera just doesn't accept it and the clipping goes right back on. Is anybody able to help?

Centre button of the rear circular dial should toggle all the various selected ‘Capture Assistants’ on/off in live view and playback.

Also an on/off (along with your chosen clipping values) in ‘Capture Assistants’ > ‘Clipping’

And (for live view) in ‘Capture Assistants’ > ‘Exposure Simulation’ options of permanent or half-press of shutter button will show clipping if ‘on’

Thank you for your input, I am aware of option one, option three is not so relevant as I hardly ever use live view, however the one I wanted (turn it off permanently) is your option two, and this just doesn't work....not a big deal, but somewhat strange anyway.

At least on my M10 changing the clipping configuration requires that you step through all the three fields (On/Off, Lower and Upper Limits) before it takes effect. So even if the two limit fields turn grey when Off is selected I still need to step through them for the Off setting to take effect. Hope this helps.

Tried that as well, didn't work, well I can certainly live with it....
