I have been using the camera every day since, always with „spot“ aurofocus, and have had no problems. What is different about my Q3, or my working methods from those who do have problems? This thread is 6 pages long but there only appear to be a couple of posters who think the code has broken something and none of them definitive. I've not seen any other threads taking about problems either so I'm not convinced that there is a major problem with it.

algrove Posted May 24, 2024 Share #102 Posted May 24, 2024 I saw no need to update so far.
hoppyman Posted June 19, 2024 Share #103 Posted June 19, 2024 I only just updated the firmware today. I use the SD card method. I don't know what I did differently this time, because the file number was reset. That is a minor irritant for me. I thought that didn't happen last time. I did recover the sequence by copying the last file as suggested by others, thanks. For an extra challenge my last files already had lossless compression done by me in Lr. The camera sees there is a file but by name only. I shot a throwaway, put the copy of last file in the same folder with my PC and deleted the throwaway in camera. Note that the folder number was reset when I made the throwaway. That's a bit of messing around but I was stubborn wanting to continue the numbering sequence. I also left the last image I’d taken on the card, and the file numbers were reset. In the previous update, the file numbers remained unchanged. My biggest frustration is the ‘freezing’; it appears to be getting worse. I had to remove the battery 3 times yesterday. It has nothing to do with the memory card, I have a very fast and new SD card, which has made zero difference. So frustrating when you send so much money…. My Fuji’s never crashed once in 5 years…. Fingers crossed Leica are working on another update to resolve these issues….
