SL3 vs. SL2-S for Filming

The SL2-S is currently the best option for video, IF you plan to stay within the following:

- 4K 24p-30p (That 4.2.2 10 Bit All-I is really gorgeous!)

- Manual focus (AF in video is simply not reliably due to the lack of Phase Detect AF) 

The Leica SL3-S is already at the horizon and will most likely fix the AF and bring at least 4K 60p no crop if not 4K 120p no crop and more. So for now, I would just stick with the SL2-S and then upgrade to the SL3-S in a couple of months. SL3 is geared towards photography imho.
