baxterbradford Posted May 8, 2024 Share #1 Posted May 8, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Whilst it is easy to select Exposure Bracketing in the Drive mode by allocation of a Function button, it is currently far harder to revert to Single Frame shooting (or whatever the user was in beforehand). These two options appear at the opposite ends of the Drive menu, so the user has to scroll right through to locate Single frame. The same situation exists for the M11 and Q2 menus, these have far fewer options. I have written to Leica requesting that they consider making 2 changes to make the situation better for the user like myself who predominantly uses Single frame drive with occasional use of Exposure Bracketing where the brightness range is large. Make the Drive mode menu a carousel, so that by scrolling the other way, the above two modes are next to each other. If that's not possible add another Single frame option next to the Exposure Bracketing. Make the selection of Exposure Bracketing mode through the use of a Function button a toggle action, so that pressing it again reverts to Single frame mode (or whatever was selected beforehand) If other users feel this is a good idea, then please can you take time time to email Leica as per the website to make the same request?

Photoworks Posted May 8, 2024 Share #2 Posted May 8, 2024 I can not imagine that Leica will even implement it. you probably have the most lunch in having it added to a function, but that would probably just be the same as what you have now. repeating menu items is just messy. you need to make a logical point, these people are German. For 5 years I have been asking for the FOTOS app to have different shooting modes. And I think everyone agrees that they would like a fixed center field focusing option. But hey, keep it up, maybe it gets better.
