deekay Posted May 8, 2024 Share #1 Â Posted May 8, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is it possible to change the white balance of the viewfinder? I find it way too warm. I realize one can alter the color balance but am thinking more about WB.
Advertisement Posted May 8, 2024 Posted May 8, 2024 Hi deekay, Take a look here SL3: EVF color / white balance. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
kkcsm Posted May 8, 2024 Share #2  Posted May 8, 2024 I can’t answer for SL3 as I have a SL601.  But on the 601 you can affect the viewfinder color by adjusting camera->jpg settings->saturation.  If you shoot only DNG this affects the viewfinder without affecting the DNG.  Perhaps a lower saturation would give you the view you want? I am a bit curious about the question, for me the viewfinder is for framing and (for MF) focusing.  But temperature doesn’t affect me in the VF as I set it to display monochrome. Berlinman Posted May 8, 2024 Share #3 Â Posted May 8, 2024 You can change that in the menu Camera Settings / Display Settings / Color Settings EVF. And separate for the LCD.
