Hello guys!
I have searched forum, but couldn't find an answer.

Is there any third party option flash for Leica SL which will work in Manual mode, I don't need TTL and don't want to waste 500$ on Leica branded clone of Nissin or Metz variant.

Thank you!

Almost any modern flash should work in manual mode. Your camera won't know that a flash is attached, so you'll need to make sure that you don't use a shutter speed that doesn't exceed the sync speed (1⁄180 for the SL).

Any flash with Nikon or Canon pins will fire. I have two different Godox flashes in Nikon variant and they both work.
Other users have reported success with Fuji and Olympus variants.
The only exception seems to be Sony, these won’t fire due to a different core pins configuration

I will go for Godox TT350 for Nikon

Cheers and love to you!

There is a Godox trigger that works with Leica

xpro trigger for Leica.

with this trigger you will get ttl.
And HSS

Looks like Sony moved the centre contact (which is the only one relevant to manual flash) for some mad reason of their own. You can get away with using third party manual flashes on a Sony camera because they made the displaced centre contact in the shoe wide enough to engage with a flash pin in either position, but the centre pin on a flash designed for Sony will probably miss the centre contact in a standard shoe like Leica's (which has a contact of the normal size and position).

I use the XPro II-L on my SL 601, works well with an AD200pro strobe.  I don’t use TTL, but HSS works which is useful.  And I believe you can use any of the 2.4ghz flash heads with that controller, all they care about is the controller not the camera.
