Q3 among top 20 cameras sold in 2023 in Japan

According to Map Camera (more or less the equivalent of B&H in Japan), the Leica Q3 was among their top sellers in 2023, at number 18. 
This is the first time I ever see a Leica in the top 20 cameras sold. Now, this is only one shop and only in Japan, but it’s a great result nonetheless. 
Other notable top sellers are the two Ricoh GRIII variants at number 8 and 14, impressive considering the GRIII came out in 2019!

Imagine where Leica could have been if they had a 40/50 variant… the GRx outsells the 28mm version.

 

oh wait, don’t start this discussion again, as the diehards don’t want another version…

While I do agree with you, there’s to say that the GRIIIx was released in 2021, 3 years after the 28mm version, so people had 3 years to buy a second model
