Although I'm still no closer to making my decision, all your feedback has been great in pointing out factors which I've overlooked.

Size and weight are not a concern, because I'll only carry my MP and one or both of my lenses. Money is also not an issue because I will either buy a used lens or a new Summarit, depending on well they are reviewed.

I forgot about playing with the different framelines, so I'll start composing with them, and see which is better for my needs. (And yes, I mis-composed my first few shots testing the 75mm Summicron f/2 ASPH by using the 50mm frame lines.)

Initially, I didn't even consider a 90mm, but when I went to a store to try the new Summarit 75mm, they only had the Summarit 90mm. I was quite surprised to see how much easier it was to compose with the 90mm than I had imagined, almost as easy as the 75mm ASPH. (Granted, I only shot a roll with each.)

It took me a long time to decide between the Summicron 35mm f/2 ASPH and the Summicron 50mm f/2 three years ago, and with helpful suggestions from the forum, I've been very pleased with the 35mm. It'll probably be another three years before I even think about getting a third lens. And when I do go digital, unless I win the lottery, there's no way I can even dream about an M digital, new or used.

So, I guess I'll practice a lot more, continue to monitor the forums, and my Christmas gift to myself may have to wait a few more weeks!
