SL3 “The File Cannot Be Opened”

I am experiencing a weird issue. I take photos and they write to the SanDisk CF Express card. They play fine and can be reviewed without issue. I can send them to my photo via the app. All good. I can remove the card and reinsert it and all is still good. Once I insert the card into the card reader and import the photos into Lightroom, reinsert the card into the camera, the photos can no longer be read by the camera. I receive the warning “The File Cannot Be Read”. If I then take more photos, those photos are reviewable but not the ones previously imported. Anyone else?

I noticed the same problem today, but only with the JPGs - the DNGs are displayed normally.

I am shooting dng only. I guess it’s just a bug. Weird one at that.
