What's in your Leica Q/Q2/Q3 camera bag?

I have four bags. The two most relevant are:

  • an Oberworth Q bag which just takes my Q2 (inc Leica grip and thumb rest), spare battery and an ND filter.
  • A Think Tank Retrospective 30 which takes all of the above plus my Leica SF40 flash, a Gitzo table tripod, several other filters (NDs / polarising / black pro mist), a blower brush, a Leica rope strap (loose), a Manfrotto Lumimuse 6 LED light, spare battery and Nitecore portable charger, soft cloth to wrap camera in whilst in the bag, plastic bag to cater for moving to and fro humid areas and a small make up brush to remove dust etc after a windy dusty day. Plus space for my iPad. If I take this bag the Oberworth is usually in my check in bag for use on a day to day basis dependent on where I am going (see bullet 4 below)

The two other bags are:

  • a Think Tank Retro 20 for longer trips but not as long as needing the Retro 30 with less kit and a
  • Think Tank Mirrorless Mover 20 (similar size to the Oberworth) for short visits to less salubrious places and/or atrocious weather.

I also have a 20+ year old green Billingham Hadley (Small) but that has never seen the Q2 in it. Used to carry my old M6 when I had it.

Sorry no pictures as a) I have never taken any and b) I am too lazy to repack the bags to take any now.

That's the thing.... the Q series doesn't need much. Q2, peak design wrist strap, a rope neck strap, spare battery, small microfiber cloth. That all fits in this small bag which doesn't fit much else.

you're reading too much into this. I was just asking what you are looking for? Maybe you need to lighten up a bit and not write in ALL CAPS?

I carry my Q3 in a Wotancraft 2L bag. Sometimes I have a powerbank and a USB-C cable in there sometimes I don't. Sometimes I don't carry a bag and just the camera. Sometimes I carry it in a bigger bag with another camera and other stuff... What kind of benefit do you get from this info? Seems pretty pointless to ask this and post my answer as your needs may or may not be different. The general confiusion seems to suggest this as well...

Wow...some people here (I won't name names) should chill and learn some manners..  If you don't like a question...ignore it.  Nobody on here is forcing you to do anything.

Is that understandable Genoweffe (ok...so I did name a name)
