Leica Q3 menu items shown in red

I have just noticed that on my Q3, menu page 4, the item for long exposure noise reduction is shown in red (when highlighted). On menu page 3, perspective control is the same. The only thing that I can see that is different for these two menu items from others is that they toggle between on and off states. Exploring further I've found some of the deeper menus also show in red, and they are all two-state options.

Is this simply a user experience choice of Leica's or is there something else that dictates that some menu options should show red?
