KPak Posted November 26, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted November 26, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello. I tried printing photos from my leica d-lux3 for the first time and it went terribly. I went to one of those pop your memory card in the machine and do it yourself things and when it printed, it cut off part of the photos and the quality was really pixilated. Â Does anyone have any advice? Or should I take it in for someone to do it for me? Â Thank you.

rjans Posted November 26, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted November 26, 2007 Welcome to the Forum, I do not make prints myself. In the past it has occured occasionally that a print was out of focus. It was when I had cropped the image. Still do not know what I did wrong. Â If I decide to have prints, I put the files on CD (a folder for each format) and have them printed at my local Leica dealer. They do their own printing (Fuji) and have the possibility to print 16:9. Most on-line print services only support 4:3 or 2:3 ratio. Â Best
Maggie_O Posted November 26, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted November 26, 2007 If you have an image editing program, you can create a 4:3 image file with a neutral grey (or black or white) background and paste your 16:9 image into it. Then send that file to the printers.
