I'm curious whether pixel-shift on the SL2-S outdoes the SL2's standard shots. I have both cameras and have used pixel-shift with both. This feature works great on both but is better on the SL2… naturally. But the files look different. I prefer the SL2 using pixel-shift for art reproduction, as this one of the reasons I purchased this camera. And I prefer the SL2S for every day use as it handles high ISO much better. Both cameras are, however, great tools. I have held off getting a SL3 until Leica offers this feature.
Advertisement Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Hi Printmaker, Take a look here SL2 vs. SL2-S in 2024 (Lightroom SR/NR). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Shepherdphotographer Posted December 5, 2024 Share #22 Â Posted December 5, 2024 @Almizilero Hi, can I ask you a favor? Could you post a non-binding photo taken with the SL2 at 47 Mpx and ISO 800, DNG and JPEG format on camera, perhaps with an aspherical lens preferably not apochromatic (indicating which one)? Am I asking too much? Thanks.
