M246 Clipping Indicators

Hey all,

I just bought a M246 and the highlight clipping indicators are not being displayed. Hitting the Info button just brings me to the Additional Info screen. 

Do I need to turn the clipping indicators on somehow?

Are you in the right viewing mode? There is one where the are not shown and with them. In this case you have to see a blue and a red bracket in the lower right corner of the screen.

With my M246M in "play" mode the info button cycles through 4 screens (just keep pushing it).

Normal play mode - Normal play with histogram - With highlight clipping indicators (blue/red brackets in lower right corner) - Detailed info screen (small photo/lens/date/number/ etc.)

When I hit the info button, it never brings me to the clipping screen, just to the Additional Info screen.

I don't see the histogram unless I have press the shutter.

Obviously I'm missing something...

Ahh, I figured it out. I didn’t realize that the clipping wasn’t “live” and only shows up after you take the picture!

nope, i see the clipping also in live view, preview

try to reset the camera to factory defaults

sorry wasnt aware you talk about the 246, mine is a M10M
