Guest Posted February 4, 2024 Share #1 Posted February 4, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) My S006 acted up after about 60 shots, so I took it to the Leica store to check, fearing some mother of all motherboard failures. Well, they had a spare battery of newer vintage, et voila, my S006 sprang back to life. Meanwhile, I casually asked if they perhaps had taken in a copy of the S007 recently. Turns out, just three days ago they actually had. So I bought it. ISO 3200 is actually usable on the 007 (I did some tests), which makes a huge difference over the 006. Funny how these things sometimes go... Here's a sample shot. Welcome, dear visitor! If needed, it is still quite good at 12,800.... john
mgrayson3 Posted February 16, 2024 Share #3 Posted February 16, 2024 Usability is annoying - it keeps me from using my favorite cameras. I loved the S(006), but once I used the (007), I couldn't go back, despite (slightly) preferring the base ISO (006) results. 2
