I just took the plunge into the digital M world 3 months ago. The learning curve was nearly minimal as all the controls were nearly in the same spot.

Exposure-wise there was some change needed because I used to sunny16 with the latitude of film being my saving grace. Now I underexpose if I'm not sure, or check my exposure with a test shot. The benefit is now I can shoot between 400 ISO - 3200 ISO with a few clicks instead of shooting f/2 @ 1/8 and hoping my result won't be blurry.
